How we started

MyLiferaft was born from a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those with complex care needs. Nicola’s journey with her daughter Faith, who had multiple and complex care needs, highlighted the crucial need for a centralised platform to effortlessly add, retrieve, and share information among the caregiving network.

Driven by a mission to address these universal challenges, our dedicated team embarked on a journey of discovery and development. The result is MyLiferaft—an online, smart personal healthcare product equipped with features designed to manage information related to caring for oneself or a loved one. Whether young or old, managing a long or short-term condition, or simply aiming to stay well, MyLiferaft caters to diverse needs.

MyLiferaft’s rich features not only empower individuals but also create a robust support network involving professionals, the community, family, and friends. Together, they work towards enhancing independence, maintaining a high quality of life, and achieving personal goals.

Meet Nicola Murgatroyd, our Founder & CEO, a parent, carer, and successful entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical sector. Nicola’s personal experiences shaped MyLiferaft’s vision, recognising that the challenges faced by parents in caring roles are universal. Her insight extends to all carers, regardless of age, health, employment, or other circumstances. Life’s uncertainties are inevitable, but with MyLiferaft, you can be one step ahead and prepared for the unexpected. Join us in redefining care and well-being through innovation and personal understanding.
