Liferaft supports London2Bruges charity cycle ride

Congratulations to our very own Sabina and the team for completing the gruelling London2Bruges cycle ride over the weekend! It was a tough journey by all accounts, but everyone made it there and back, albeit not in one piece!

On Friday May 19th a number of parents (including Liferaft very own Sabina Mangosi), relatives and friends of Kew Riverside Primary School in Surrey are taking part in a 255km (in 36hrs or less!) cycle ride challenge from Kew to Bruges to raise funds for the development and improvement of the school field.

The money raised will go towards creating and maintaining sustainable vegetable and fruit plots, providing Forest School education, sourcing gardening supplies and building an adventure playground for the children.

Liferaft is very proud to support this wonderful initiative and salutes the time and investment all the riders have made to take part: the majority of the cyclists were total novices as of January 2017 and have committed time, energy and quite a lot of hours on two wheels already to ensure they are ‘challenge ready’!

We will be tracking their progress over the 36-hour journey and wishing them well as they tackle the road ahead and raise funds for the school.
